Jann and Ashlee Purcell from Bohemia Gallery are thrilled to have been voted as one of Vancouver’s best consignment/vintage stores in the Vancouver Courier’s Stars of Vancouver Reader’s Choice Awards. They appreciate everyone who took the time to vote, as this distinction makes them both very proud. Because of this, and in being keenly aware of what is going on in our city, they want to give back to their community.
In reading through the papers recently, they felt inspired by what others were doing to help with the ever increasing number of people who are finding themselves homeless. With the Olympics just around the corner, all eyes are on Vancouver and they feel that they are in a terrific position to make a difference. They want the world to know that store owners like them are doing their part to help raise awareness, and money, to deal with this very serious issue.
With thousands of tourists visiting our city during the Olympics they plan to donate 5% from every purchase towards ending homelessness in Vancouver. Help them make a difference by visiting their store and feel good knowing that with each purchase made,Β you will be helping our city find a solution for homelessness. This campaign will start on February 12th and run all the way through to the end of the Paralympics on March 21st.
